If you are unsure, contact the team or start a ticket with the closest material description.
Do I need to know the exact weight or value before I start?
No. A ticket can begin with the material category and a short description. Photos and estimated weight are helpful, but exact identification is not required to start the review process.
How does prepaid mail-in shipping work?
Create a ticket, choose suitable packaging you already have or request a tracked USPS kit, prepare the approved parcel, and then use the prepaid return label provided through the ticket. The label is created only after the correct parcel is ready.
Can I start without creating an account?
Yes. The guest option creates a private session for that ticket. A customer account is useful when you want all submissions, labels, and status updates in one dashboard.
Can I track my shipment and refining status?
Yes. Customer and guest tracking show the milestones that apply to the ticket, including label readiness, shipment progress, receipt, processing, offer decisions, and payout state.
Does Refine This! offer pickup in Arizona?
Arizona customers can contact Refine This! to ask about coordinated pickup or on-site service. Availability is confirmed directly with the team; the processing and shipping address is not represented as a public walk-in storefront.
How is the payout amount determined?
Evaluation depends on the material received, recoverable precious-metal content, processing results, and relevant market conditions. Refine This! communicates the applicable offer or payout state through the ticket before the process is finalized.
